This is a test of the emergency blog cast system. If this were an actual blog entry you would be reading a blog entry right now. Ok so I guess it isn't actually a test but sort of a refresher....for myself. I haven't written in a blog since probably the last entry on this one in 2010. You may remember me from Xanga, well ok its doubtful that you do. Anyway, long story but I wanted to organize my garage a little earlier and I stumbled across some letters from friend who passed away many years ago. In those very letters, which he had written to me from Boot Camp circa 2006 he had wanted me to post some of the content to his Xanga for him, since he wasn't able to from Boot Camp. Now after reading, being reminded about Xanga I thought to myself....I had a Xanga too, I'd like to see that Xanga. By the way for those of you who aren't Familiar Xanga was a blogging site a long time ago, back when people would talk to you on AOL instant messenger and read your Xanga, etc. I kind of miss those days. I much prefer AIM to texting, but I don't think that even exists anymore. If it does hit me up at Trickmaster0465.
Back to the point, I thought to myself "I'd like to see that Xanga again". So I did a Google search for Xanga, came to an almost trustworthy website that didn't for some reason seem fully functional but nonetheless I was able to sign in and download my blog from about 18 or so years ago. I actually used it quite frequently and in reading it I was reminded that I think I like my thoughts better on the screen than in my head. So here I am wanting to spill the contents of my mind, on the blank canvas of the internet. The only difference now is I don't really quite have friends the way I used to, so hopefully someone finds this and actually wants to read it? As for topics to expect.....I'd expect they will be whatever strikes me at the time, so come back to find out if you really care to know. I can tell you this though, there will be words. many words, words put into sentences and hopefully sentences that make paragraphs and if I've any luck it will all seem coherent. I hope anyway.
Oh yeah the picture on here is super old. I'm an old man now, probably double the age as pictured. I'm now in my mid 30's and enjoy watching birds....especially woodpeckers.
